Online Application and Hiring Process
For the City of Rapid City

The Human Resources Division is beginning a new online application program and new job posting system through our website in collaboration with NEOGOV. The new system will allow us to offer increased service and information to candidates and department staff. Candidates interested in employment opportunities with City of Rapid, and employees interested in internal promotions and transfers, will have the opportunity to use this new Insight/Online Hiring Center to submit their application and resume.

• Application completion at your convenience – If you are completing your application and are called away, you are now able to stop and save your application to complete later.
• Ability to create and store multiple application versions that you can review, revise & reuse

• Increased information – ability to receive updates about your application status
• Job Interest Cards – you can register to receive automatic notification of positions that you are interested in as they are posted.
